For members of the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society.


As you may have heard, STJS is in real financial trouble.

Due to a loan of $180,000 to the Society by the city of Sacramento, STJS has
been able to stave off bankruptcy.

The election for pres, Vice-president, Treasurer & 5 Board members is next
Sunday, Dec 14.

This is probably the most important election that STJS has ever had.

If you are a member, please vote.

Since time is of the essence, if you cannot be at the meeting, please call
the STJS office, (916) 372-5277 first thing Monday morning & request an
absentee ballot.  If you are a Musician Gold Card member, or hold a family
membership, remember that your spouse can also vote.

All absentee ballots must be back in the STJS office by 5:00 PM Friday, Dec
12.

Don't forget to sign the outside of the envelope per instructions.
