Yes, and just because he did not fit the mold, he was picked on and often
criticized for making his own mark on music, just like Louis, and Bix and Benny
and all the others.
On the other hand his brother was a half wit mediocre violinist who could
hardly buy a job and exposed as a music shyster of the worst kind in Shad
O'Shay's great book, "Just for the Record" available on Creative Counter point
Press, out of Cincinnati Ohio.
If any of you have not read this brilliant and funny expose on the record and
publishing business you simply owe it to yourself to read it.
700 Pages of can't put it down factual and funny information that will
educate you big time on another aspect of this cockamamie business.
I have no financial interest in the book, but when you write to Shad tell him
I sent you, just to show him I still support him and his brilliant expose.
If you buy the book and read it you can send me a $5.00 referral fee and feel
good about learning something you probably never new about this business.
You want to see reality in this business, check out this website. for just
one true story.
