Well, of course I had HEARD OF the CJB but I have never heard them play.  I 
have a big
poster of the King Oliver CJB in my living room along with another of Louis 
and Billie
Holiday and Jack Teagarden, et al.  And I knew of the importance of this 
group, and how Louis regarded it as the thrill of his life playing second 
cornet with "Poppa Joe."
Still, unless I heard them on the radio, I don't believe I have heard their 
sound.  Thanks for your response.
