Hey, Jon!  Welcome aboard!

And, man, what a cheerful bit of news you bring!  At 74 (today) I'm getting
more deaf each year, and hearing aids badly distort the sound--mine and
everyone else's, too.  Great to know a man can play professionally without
hearing, although I suppose Beethoven should have made me suspect that.

If you ever come through Chicago, give me a shout at 708-366-8455.  Lots of
fairly wholesome pickers in this town, and I know a lot of them.
