Dear Ron & Rosemary,
The model of the Cotton Club shown on your site is based on a photograph I have,
taken in 1940, when Bill Robinson and Cab Calloway were appearing there. The
model reproduces the advertising signs and the, then current, Cotton Club logo.
Buckley's beauty salon next door on the left can be seen in the model.
This would have been the 200 West 48th St  (old Connie's Inn) location which
operated  from Sept 1936 to 10 June 1940.
