Some time ago I was offered a gig for today but turned it down because I'm
triskaidekaphobic - I just knew that one day an opportunity would arise to
use that word!

To save you all the bother of diving for your dictionaries :
Triskaidekaphobia (tris-ky-dek-uh-FOH-bee-uh), noun:
a morbid fear of the number 13 or the date Friday the 13th.
