Jerry, read my thoughts on our Nat. Anthem on another recent post. As I
said onit, our Anthem has traditionally usually been performed
instrumentally. If it has been sung it was usually by a professional who
could handle its wide range. Louis Armstrong played it beautifully and very
straight. He never tried to sing it.

Your British National Anthem is much more singable and honestly, as much
as I love jazz, there is nothing more thrilling than hearing your Anthem sung
by a British audience with a full orchestra or military band. It is truly a
wonderful piece of music with centurys of emotion layered into it. Don't
belittle it.
