Just a word about Tommy Loy... I got to know Tommy only in the last few years. The first time I met him he talked to me like we were old friends and treated me that way every time I saw him. He was also kind enough to invite me to sit in a couple of times with the group at Bavarian Grill. I have many tapes from those shows and I refer to them often when learning tunes. I have learned a lot from Tommy as well as Scott Whitfield and John Stutler and the others in the group. I told Tommy about that one night and he said "I learned a lot that way. I guess we then just pass it along to someone else.".... Tommy was a good guy and he certainly will be missed.
