I may have told this story before on DJML but, hopefully we have enough new
members who will enjoy it. It is one of my all-time favorites.
Dick Cary told me about this drummer who subbed one night with Bobbie
Hackett. The new drummer's idea of Dixieland was cowbells & tone blocks.
Finally, in exasperation, Bobbie turned to the drummer & said, "We'll play
Back home again in Indiana, you play C Jam Blues."
