Glenn Gould was a Canadian pianist who specialized in equal temperment
piano...that is music where each note is played with the same attack and
loudness as the others. It has a hypnotic appeal to it and even with the
range of notes on a grand piano and its ability to respond to very subtle
changes in the artist's fingering, this is a technique that many pianists
probably could not or would not want to replicate.

Bud Taylor, Smugtown Stompers, Rochester, NY
                >>>Trad Jazz since 1958<<<
Intentionally played with MUCH variation!
