Dear Dave (and listmates),
I am so sorry to hear this news, but grateful you took time and
consideration to let us know. I love Rocky's contributions, from the serious
Civil War message to the wacky Japanese indoor BBQ story. (Just yesterday I
found a printout of that story and read it again for laughs.) Rocky was
flattered when I wrote in October to say I had requested "My Old Kentuck[r]y
Home" at a gig played by listmates Ringwald, Edgerton, and Williams. (Rocky
still swears that story is true!)
I, for one, will be sending him lots and lots and good vibes and loving
thoughts over the airwaves; it may not help, but it couldn't hurt.
Listmates, please join me in wishing him a speedy, full recovery.
Love and concerned hugs,
Nancy

> Rocky is making progress as far as rocovery from the effects of the
stroke.
> The Physical therapist had him standing and even walked a few feet with a
> walker. Swallowing and speech are improving as well. Still can't seem to
get the BP stablized so they are now starting to look at some possible
underlying causes. So that means more tests and until the bp is stable he
can't be moved off the CCU. Keep praying...we are seeing proof of His
awesome power every day! Happy Thankgiving.
