Hi Bill and listmates,
I believe that the Rhythmakers was a sort of generic name tagged onto
various groupings of musicians for commercial purposes in the 1930's. I
read something of the sort on the Red Hot Jazz site awhile back; just scroll
down the band names until you come to Rhythmakers and it should have some
details.
