Am I being cynical is thinking that the decline in CD sales could be more
attributable to the remarkably low standard of the 'mainstream' popular music
which has for many years accounted for the vast bulk of sales of recordings.
Maybe the great public out there are realising that what is being foisted on
them by the major record companies is actually musical crap manufactured to
the lowest possible standardsand they are voting with their feet?
