[Dixielandjazz] Trumpet High Notes

I have heard a funny story.

It seems that Cat Anderson, when the set was over would take his special
(High note) mouth piece out of his horn, put it in his pocket & replace it
with a regular one.  The young groupie trumpet players would gather around
his horn looking at it in wonder trying to figure out how he played so high
with that normal mouth piece.
