Dick played for awhile, as I did, at Chicago's Jazz Ltd. He also played a
summer gig for several years in Houghton Lake, MI (1960's) before heading
southward. Good player -- cornet actually rather than trumpet on most
things.
I think highly of his ability and sound, and I hear he is still playing in
the Florida area.
