I don't really think this is a popularity contest...but it is interesting
to hear the variety of styles, tunes, and musicians being mentioned here. I
think the point has been made that "best" no longer applies. That is too
subjective -- and perhaps divisive.
If you want a technical thread, then write one up and set the parameters
you want for it and send it out. Perhaps that will keep people on the thread
as it is originally stated. But knowing the way things work here, I wouldn't
make book on it. But, heck, give it a try.
