Not an argument, just an alternative view, but for me the most
wonder-evoking version of Body and Soul
was played by trombonist Joe Yukl (AK.A. the Mad Russian) on a late 40's
Jump label release. Any trombonist hearing this will marvel at what can be
done with perfect jumps between mid range and pedal tones without a slip.
Tasty, tasty, tasty!
