[Dixielandjazz] Is It Jazz?

     A number of times in 6 or 7 years the question has arisen: "Is it the 
tune or the way it is played that makes it Jazz"?
     There have been valid arguments on both sides of the issue, and for 
those of the people who claim that it is the tune, I invite you to listen to 
"The Grand Dominion Jazz Band Stomp Off  CD 1378-- Has It Really Been 20 
Years Vol. 1"? Playing (of all things)?  THE WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER
     If that ain't JAZZ with a Capital J I really don't know what is!( IMHO)
