We met Raymond Burke in New Orleans in 1975.
A delightful man and a fine clarinet player.

Exactly as I remember him.
He made too few records, unfortunately. Not many currently available.
An LP I have (New Orleans NOR 7202) with Johnny St Cyr has a cover picture, with
palm tree in the background, may be the one you mention with the rubber band. It
looks like one!
He also recorded with a mate of ours, Sydney (Australia) based trumpet player
Geoff Bull (GHB-203 an LP).
