Wonderful stories about OKOM jazz wives on this thread. I suspect that
the NY Times writer of the original post, from a "modernist",  was just
not aware of OKOM or OKOM JAZZ WIVES. Too bad because there are some
really great women associated with OKOM and as Don Ingle said, they
sometimes put up with a lot of stuff from their sons, husbands, lovers,
etc. How lucky we are.
