Yes, and the cone sometimes did not explode when triggered. So the bomb maker
get next to it to diagnose the problem. Given the unpredictable nature of
explosives at the time, often the petard would go off whilst that poor
unfortunate was atop it and he would be blown sky high.
Kind of like that jpeg you might have seen of a chap who set himself on fire
while trying to burn an American flag. A fitting reward.
Regarding the breaking of wind definition that Dan Augustine describes, as it
might apply to Dr. Hooks, that's very funny as well as perhaps somewhat odious
depending on whether is down wind, or not.
