alcoholic haze.  Some of them did, of course, but quite a few lived very
long lives.  I have been looking some of these players up, and found some
interesting dates.  Remember, every one of these people lived through
World War I, the 1918 Flu Epidemic (which got my paternal grandfather),
the Great Depression, and World War II.
