Sorry to be picky, but ...

There are actually 4 (four) Benny Goodman versions of "Shirt Tail Stomp".

4 June 1928, Benny Goodman's Boys 
18 January 1929, Jimmy Bracken's Toe Ticklers (an Irving Mills group)
22 January 1929, Ben's Bad Boys (a Ben Pollack group)
15 March 1929, Jimmy Bracken's Toe Ticklers (an Irving Mills group)

That Bill Haesler missed the two Irving Mills sessions is a bit of a
surprise - they've both been issued on Sunbeam LPs and I know that Bill has
at least one of them. Too much Xmas cheer perhaps   :-)

Don Ingle's mention of guitarist Dick Morgan is interesting and his
nickname "Ickie" or "Icky" pops up with one of the sides from the 18
January 1929 session - "Icky blues", with Morgan as the vocalist.

Sorry to overload listmates with detail at this time of the year but there
are a few more points to note:

The name of the Hawaiian group which was in the studio on 4 June 1928 is
the HANAPI Trio; and Brian Rust has failed to correct the matrix number for
the 4 June 1928 "Shirt Tail Stomp" in the latest edition of "Jazz and
ragtime records" - it is E27643, not E27641.
