"The best song I have heard about lawyers is not exactly OKOM...but
could be played as such....and is MY ATTORNEY BERNIE, by Dave Frishberg.
I have the sheet music if anyone needs it. Since Dave has often played
with OKOM bands. I would expect him to be flattered if it showed up on
somebody's new CD release."

Yes Dave did play with lots of OKOM bands. I gigged with him frequently
in NYC in the 1950s with two different Dixieland bands. He was just a
kid, but a neat guy and talented piano player the. However, you might
ask permission to use the tune before recording it. I later send the CD
with "My Attorney Bernie" on it to bassist Charles Traeger, because
Chuck had an attorney named Bernie, and he worked in one of those bands
with Dave in the 1950s also.

Later, Frishberg moved to the left coast and became famous as a piano
player and as a song writer. Those of us he left behind love his tune
"Do You Miss New York?", and make an effort to see him when he appears
on the East Coast.

Not sure where he lives now, but think it might be Portland Oregon, if
not LA.
