A good place to start would be to join the Northern Colorado Traditional
Jazz Society.

In Denver there is traditional jazz every Sunday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at
the Bull and Bush in Glendale.  On the First Sunday of the month there is a
jam session in Louisville
