Hello, all,

Our good friend, Jim Snyder passed away this morning at 7:30 AM. Anne
Raggio received a call from Barbara, that Jim had died peacefully this
morning, and requested that I notify everyone by e-mail. They had
brought him home from the care center on Thursday night to comply with
his wishes, and to make him as comfortable as possible His two sons,
Dean and Doug, were with him, and were strength to Barb. All of the
family had been in and out, yesterday, Friday, to visit, with only some
success. He has been in very bad shape for the last week, and
struggling, with much difficulty for many weeks, months, and years as
you all know. Mike Walbridge, Jack Lord, and others have sat with him
all night over the past week, talking with him when he was able, playing

and discussing jazz, as was his life. Their dedication was a great help

to the family.

According to the current information, they will have a small service
after the holidays, with possible plans for a memorial at a later date.
I am sure we will all be in touch to share the wonderful memories of
past years, and determine what we can do to express our love.

If you receive multiple notices, it will be because of his many friends,

and their concern and love.

Vince
