[Dixielandjazz] Don Gumpert and Jim Snyder

I talked with both Don Gumpert and Jim Synder this morning.  Don is a hot 
cornetist and Jim Snyder a hot trombonist.  Both have cancer complications.  
Don is in Florida and will have to have a kidney removed.  He sounds in good 
spirits considering everything.  Jim Snyder is in the Chicago area and has 
been battling cancer for some time. He is in for some treatment.  He sounded 
in good spirits as well.
