    Thank you to everyone who chipped in with a method of mass deletions of 
old mail.

I knew I could count on the list.

I now have 95 different methods of deleting old posts. I have not tried any 
yet but the answer has to be in there somewhere.

Incidentally, in response to request from Pat C I shall now sign my posts Pat 
L. as there have been replies and posts where the sender doesn`t appreciate 
that there are two of us lurking out here.
Although how you could miss my Brit accent totally defeats me.
