This sounds like a fun way to while away a Saturday afternoon:

One of the denizens of another mailing list takes a wind-up Victrola and
stack of 78's to the patio area of an LA Starbucks and plays them.

"If anyone in LA wants to drop by, I go to the Starbucks in Toluca
Lake next to Bobs Big Boy on Riverside. I am there most every
Saturday afternoon after 2. Bring some records to play.
