Vilcad, here is an excerpt from Slipknot's Bio page. Heh, I don't think they
are OKOM. ;-)

------

Slipknot

In '99, the spore called Slipknot exploded. Now, in 2001, the infestation
continues.

Hailing from the 'middle of nowhere'- Des Moines, Iowa - they are nine men
in nine different masks united with one common goal - world domination.
Fortified with an arsenal of blistering music saturated with screams, drums,
searing riffs, sampling, scratches and melody, Slipknot's music runs the
scale from eerily thought-provoking to utterly terrifying. Now, with their
self-titled debut album having gone platinum- the first in Roadrunner
Records history - the band is set to release their second effort, IOWA,
which has been called by many "one of the most anticipated albums of 2001".
~~<snip>~~
Slipknot has been called "the best live band in ten years" (Lou Brutus, Hard
Drive), but if you've never seen it, you wouldn't believe it. Millions of
people can attest to that throughout the world. A murderous, rampaging
free-for-all that threatens to engulf the entire venue, Slipknot is a sonic
assault on all five senses that makes you wish you had a sixth. Voted "Best
International Live Act" by Kerrang! Magazine, there is no stopping the
madness spread by their masterful art of live performance.

Throwing beads my be all very well, but a band in Scotland is really
getting
down on it (wonder if Gunter is in on this?):

    Ananova:
Slipknot plan to shower fans with animal entrails

Slipknot are planning to throw animal entrails at the crowd during their
Gig
    On The Green appearance.

The band have requested pigs' hearts and cattle intestines for next
month's
    concert in Glasgow.

But the idea has sparked safety concerns from council chiefs, who fear
the
stunt could prompt a crush around the stage.

Gig On The Green takes place on August 24 and 25.

According to Glasgow's Evening Times., animal rights activists are
behind
the plan saying the sight of a pig's heart would remind people where
bacon
    comes from.

During Slipknot's last tour their fans notched up a total of 45 broken
ribs
    and 240 stitches.

When they visited Glasgow's Virgin Megastore on a promotional visit
earlier
this year, they made one fan's wish come true by spitting on him.

    Give it some thought?
