Dear Perry, I was doing some deleting and came across your unanswered query regarding Joe Temperley (bar sax). Sorry about the delay. The Scot, Joe Temperley, went to live in NYC in 1965 (the year Red Nichols died in Las Vegas while on tour). I have nothing to show that Joe ever played with Nichols.
