Rascally Russian releasers Abgurd Subdivision have been nice enough
to offer up an english version of their latest press release which
means that unilingual losers such as myself are now aware that they
have a wack of new material on offer. First up is US based Ryan
Oppermann sourced contagion KLINIKAL SKUM with "Miasma" which coughs
up a lump of "analogue electronics and synth-noise styled
atmospheres" themed over "mental hospitals, clinic, medication, nurse
fetish, medical fetish, psychosis, etc." (mmmmm, etc.). It is
apparently all "dark, creepy, and demented" and has a run of 102
copies. Next we have the debut of Siberian act INSTANT MOVIE
COMBINATIONS with "9YMBO". This sucker uses "noise drone ambient" to
implement "static, resilient waves of dissociating music". The disc
comes in a full colour A5 sleeve with some snippets of 8mm film and
has a run of 196. Finally we have a titled yet untitled release from
Russians SUBHUMAN called "untitled II". The 3" CDR gets summed up as
the "desolate and anguished symphony of aftermath" and uses "distant
drones and whizzes, melancholic piano melodies, strict drum-rolls and
speeches" to do its dirty deeds. Again with the full colour sleeve
though this time there's 198 copies to be had. Some short MP3
samples have been posted to the label's site to tug at your wallet
and if you need to test out your Russian or find out how to get your

Vancouver, BC (that's Soviet Canuckistan for you American readers)
based label Run Down Sun has been busy with the arts and crafts as of
late and has no less than 4 new releases to show for their efforts.
First out the door is a C30 from Oregonian Pulse Emitter bearing the
title "Fall" which forecasts "ominous dark-cloud-doom-drones" giving
way to "cold harsh winds of static" later in the day. The run is 100
and it's packaged in "offset and screen printed 2 panel covers on
heavy paper" complete with insert (that's a noun, not a command).
Next in line is Kevin Shields "Monkeys Have No Hair" tape, another
C30 affair which will get your pants all dirty with a mix of
"feedback, and shriek vocals" that should be considered "chaotic
spazz channeled through some serious power-electronics-hatred come
SoCal-hardcore-anguish". Same number of copies though this one has
half the run in "stenciled and spray-painted cases" and the others
done via "silk screen" (oh, and an insert to boot). 3rd up is Bees
of Deseret and their "delay rite of the acieed godz" CDR. This time
the mood is all "sloppy 'n' crude, heavy-psych jamz from a couple of
high-school drop-outs" (stay in school kids) with "no drums here,
just guitars (maybe a little keyboard, and a tape loop???) and
pedals, the way the good lord intended". Each copy of the available
25 comes in a handmade pseudo digipack with colour artwork. Finally,
Hates Haunts gets a self-titled CDR re-issue of their previous 10
copy only Hallowe'en 2005 release. You can expect "two long tracks
of ultra slow burn, crumbling-tape-loop horror sounds, and crude
lo-fi creep 'n' crawl" again in the handmade digipack with a run so
small you will have to pull out your penis (or clitoris) for

Ugly American Fire In The Head has been a release slut as of late so
its not much of a surprise then that he's be doing the deed with
German
"proud to be pasty looking" label L.White Records. This time it's a
3" CDR entitled "Kill From The Inside" which sports a "special
package" (since you have special needs) and a run of 200. If you
venture within you can expect 5 tracks described as "unrelenting,
razor sharp power electronics and dark, harsh noise" which sounds
good to me and will set you back 7 €. To find out ordering

US based "drone, lowercase, glitch, experimental, noise, click, and
soundart" purveyor and prolific releaser extraordinaire Cordell
Klier is at it again with no less than 4 fresh self-released doses of
this and that. First we have the oh so imaginatively entitled
"40mins/15secs" which is said to contain "spacious drones and quiet
field recordings". Next we have the muppet sounding "Blue Devouring"
which is apparently a re-release of the first Cordell demo and which
contains "ominous droning glitch & click" complete "with a pulse"
(so I guess you can try to shag it then). The third one is named
"Rebirth (the physics of light)" and utilizes "subtle to concentrated
filtered pink & white noise" and is supposed to represent the
"sound of light penetrating solid objects" (Cordell warns that you
might need a degree to get into it). Finally, there is "Secrets (the
lost tracks)" which plays around with "rhythmic glitch, minimalist
beat structures mixed with drone ambient" (which Cordell is
particularly adept at). All of these discs are available direct from

French label Archtyp has been busy with the alchemy as of late and to
prove it has a new FLESH :ON :STEEL derived offering to demonstrate.
Entitled "Notausgang", the disc ges summed up as containing "death
industrial" with some "deep and threatening soundscapes" lurking
"within the nightmarish terror" (if you are scared you can hold my
hand if you want to). If you do hop on board the fleshy metal, you
can expect the disc to arrive in an A5 gatefold cardboard sleeve
with "great artwork". A couple of MP3 samples have been posted which
definitely got my panties more than a little wet and if you too have
your ears perked up you are looking 12€ (15$ on the other side of the
pond) to get your greasy hands on it. For more info drop a note to

combed hair) behemoth Cold Meat Industry have just returned from
their recent Australian jaunt and the first bits of documentation
have now appeared. Andricongirl has posted a large set of rather
slick shots for your perusal which include the antics of Brighter
Death Now, Raison D'يtre, Deutch Nepal as well as other participants
such as Manticle, Bocksholm, and Shinjuku Thief to name a few.
Luckily for those of us not living in down under land, the entire
event has been documented and according to Mr. Karmanik, "will be
