to us from "Slim Lamar and his<br>
Southerners," an obscure hot<br>
band definitely worth a listen.<br>

There is little known about this<br>
group other than it's personnel<br>
and the record dates and locations.<br>
<br>
As their earlier recordings made<br>
in 1928 were cut in Memphis it is<br>
fair to assume that it's the city<br>
from which the band originated.<br>
