Started organizing trad bands in college. Joined the <b>Ruby Reds Band</b> in Atlanta about 1974. Played with <b>Ernie Carson</b>, <b>Sammy Duncan</b>, <b>Stew Magee</b>, <b>Herman Foretich</b>, <b>Hal "Shorty" Johnson</b>, <b>Big Dave Hanson</b>, <b>Milton Dargan "Peanuts" Fitch</b> and many others. Sat side banjo and apprenticed with <b>Bill Rutan</b>, <b>Ron Beisel</b>, <b>Ed Cuneo</b>, <b>Ben Johnson III</b> and (for a very short time) <b>Perry Bechtel</b>.</div><div><br></div><div>Took my own band (<b>Raz'Mataz Jazz Band</b>) to Pittsburgh (<b>Kennywood Park</b>) where I became the Director of Live Entertainment for 14 years (1978-1991). Also designed and produced live shows (including trad jazz bands) for <b>Elitch Gardens</b> in Denver; <b>Dorney Park</b> in Allentown, <b>Stone Mountain Park </b>and <b>Six Flags Over Georgia</b> in Atlanta.</div><div><br></div><div>Currently (with 2 partners) OWN the <b>Ruby Reds Band</b> and play LOTS! <a href="http://www.RubyRedsBand.com">http://www.RubyRedsBand.com</a></div><div><br></div><div>Also play piano, banjoline (4 string electric plectrum guitar), create music (of all kinds) with modern digital recording equipment in a home studio, as well.</div><div><br></div><div>...also work as a professional illustrator and graphic designer. <a href="http://www.RockyBall.com">http://www.RockyBall.com</a></div><div><br></div><div><i>When...?</i></div><div>Can't remember exactly but I've been here a LONG time... at least 15 years, maybe 20.
