Dear John,
Mike Logsdon may be close to the answer with his reference to the RCA "The Charleston for Dancing” 45rpm 7” singles album.
Sadly, the details are unreadable.
Here is a better link to the full details:
As an avid Spike Jones fan and collector, I find this one of my favourite sessions.
Recorded for RCA in Hollywood on 17 December 1949.
A The Charleston
B Charlestono-Mio
C Black Bottom
D Doin' The New Raccoon
E I Wonder Where My Baby Is Tonight
F Varsity Drag

Although, it does contain some City Slicker “stuff’ and is ‘dixieland' ala Pee Wee Hunt.
But, unfortunately, I was never been able to find that RCA set.
I have the tracks on 78, LP and CD and they are on Youtube, but you will need to search there for them by each title.
At first I assumed that you may be referring to the Spike Jones’ “Other Orchestra”.
The big band he put together for a residency at the Trocadero in Los Angeles in March 1946 that recorded for Standard Transcriptions. Reissued on a Hindsight LP HSR-185.
There is also a session for Liberty Records with his “New Band", recorded in September 1963 and released on an LP titled ‘Washington Square’.
    https://www.discogs.com/New-Band-Of-Spike-Jones-The-Washington-Square/release/3163171
I have both. Well played, uninspiring, big band swing arrangements.
Kind regards,
Bill.
