For quite a long time I've thought that the lineage went Joe Oliver - Louis Armstrong - Henry 'Red' Allen - Roy Eldridge - Dizzy Gillespie - Don't care any more.<br>

Given that I was told off because I liked Percy Humphrey and I also like "Wooden Joe" Nicholas I probably shouldn't have posted on the subject. :-)<br>
