He’s also worked in San Antonio with the Jim Cullum band. He’s spent time in residence in New Orleans and environs and continues to appear on any jazz recordings. Hal will appear in Pensacola in November as part of a New Orleans group led by trombonist David Sager, who also happens to be curator of Library of Congress’ Jukebox Project. He was a very sophisticated man, but possessed a wonderful sense of humor and exquisite good taste in music.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black'>Later, Horace wrote several delightful articles about British Jazz musicians for AFCDJS' JAZZ RAMBLER. His contributions were always welcome -- not only for his outstanding writing, but also for the information he shared regarding U.K. musicians who were not as well known to us as their American counterparts.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p><span style='font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:black'>I will miss Horace Harris.
