Once again, the Barbone Street Jazz Band reminded me why I know how lucky I am to live on the East Coast!!! 
Today's memorial event for Bill Fortune, past President of the PA Jazz Society, who we lost in November, and Mardi Gras celebration, was a standing *O* performance by Steve and his band members. 
There were so many highlights in this event, put on by Bill's family, not the least of which was Barbone Street....the best I have ever heard them!!!! 
I was with other listmates, who had not had the pleasure of hearing Barbone Street previously, were also blown away!!!!  Thank you Steve, Paul, Glenn, Jimmy, Mike and Franny for a wonderful afternoon of OKOM!!!!!!
