Here's a link to the original piano sheet music in PDF format:

The audio file that Kit Johnson sent (of the Black Swan Jazz Band playing
this, presumably with Kit on Tuba) is the same piece, though the rhythms are
"swung" rather than "straight."

This YouTube video of this rag is played from a piano roll, and the rhythms
are pretty much as written.

Sorry, but without more details (such as the name of the composer or the
year of publication), I can't be of help.

The version I heard dates to the early 1900s. There was a glass slied
referencing the tune.

There are at least two and perhaps more pieces titled "Barnyard Rag." At
least one of them is apparently available as a trombone solo with piano
accompaniment.

Who is the composer of the piece you 're looking for? Is it a standard rag
for solo piano, or is it for some other instrument or combination of
instruments?

Anyone have an MP3 of the Barnyard Rag a friend of mine could use for a
presentation?

This will be an interesting test of what's still working

Thanks,
