Now that the Covid vaccines are being distributed, we can begin to consider
activities which don't involve strict quarantine.

If you are in the New Orleans area on the last Sunday of each month, the New
Orleans Jazz Club has an open jam session 2 - 6 PM at a suburban location.
The next one is on April 25.

The facility is "Mo's Chalet" in Metairie. Public transportation is very
limited, but taxi fares are low compared to other cities. There is a full
service bar and a kitchen for hamburgers. There is a hardwood dance floor
(smallish medium size) which is kept open for dancers.

As an open jam, the quality of the music varies from passable to excellent,
but all are welcome. And who knows? Someone may call a half-forgotten gem
you haven't heard in 20 years.

Bring your ax or your dance shoes or both, and sign in at the door to play.

obedient wives would be found in all
corners of the earth." Then God made
the earth round and laughed and laughed
and laughed.
