I was very saddened to hear of Marek's death.
I had a number of years exchanging emails with him on all sorts of subjects - mostly music and politics .
He was extremely well informed and learned.
I thought things weren't right when he failed to answer an email of mine and when I sent a copy he just replied briefly that he had received it.
A loss to the list.
