I have to agree with you Bob! Armstrong was a product of an America where
Blacks were 2nd or 3rd class Americans. They were, in fact, treated as
second class citizens. They couldn't vote! Even in the North where they
had freedom, there were constraints.
Fortunately, American society eventually realized that prejudice should not
be a part of American society.
