I was wondering what the letters on mouth pieces actually refer to. For instance, I currently play a Bach 3C. By going to a 3B, 3E etc, what is changing - — the depth? and if so, do the more you get into the alphabet, is that deeper or shallower? i.e. is E deeper than B?
