[Dixielandjazz] Conrad R. "Connie" Jones 1934 - 2019

[Dave Stoddard]

Connie Jones died in his sleep on February 13.  He was 84 and had quite a
career as a New Orleans jazz cornetist and vocalist.  He played for the
Austin Traditional Jazz Society a number of times, leading his own Crescent
City Jazz Band, playing in our annual all-star concert, and playing with Tim
Laughlin.  There aren't many of his generation of jazz players left.
