[Dixielandjazz] RIP Bert Barr

Hello, listmates,

Bert Barr, intrepid leader of Uptown Lowdown Jazz Band, recently lost his battle with cancer.

Whenever he was playing, everything was right with the world.  No worries, no problems, no headaches:  just purely wonderful music.  He made me want to stomp and shout.  I could not sit still when listening to his driving, dynamic style.  He played with no holds barred!

He had a rapier wit, was a brilliant conversationalist, and he was kind and gracious, underneath what he projected as a rough, tough exterior.

May the memories of the music he showered upon us for four decades, and the sparks of his unique personality never fade.

I need the full piano / vocal sheet music - not a lead sheet.

I had it, but due to a computer crash, alas, it is gone.
