[Dixielandjazz] Ted Shafer

Hello  List  ,
  I first met Ted Shafer around 1965..I had just moved to San Francisco and he hired me to play in his 'JellyRoll JazzBand.'. I was with the group for about one year before he fired me  for 'playing too many notes'...We parted on good terms and it was a good experience for me,learning and playing the repertoire the band used.  I especially liked I playing with Bob Mielke on trombone and Bob Neighbor on
