I have done it.  But what I mean is resolving it without entering the spam folder.

Every email client is different and every email provider will have a different way of identifying and marking things as spam. So it would be difficult to give a general solution. Usually you have to find the email and tell something it isn’t spam. That is likely to involve opening the spam folder because that is where the email is. There should be no problem opening the folder, it is only dodgy to open emails that have been put in that folder, particularly if you don’t know where they have come from.
