YOUTH JAZZ DAY - SUNDAY NOV 4TH

Just a reminder that the Sac Jazz Education Foundation is hosting a Jazz Sunday at the Riverside Elks Lodge #6 on Sunday, Nov 4th from 11am to 3pm. We are starting at 11am so folks who want to get a good seat can come early and enjoy the Elks' fabulous buffet brunch for only $10!  Brunch starts at 8:30am and ends at 11:00 am, just as the music starts. (NOTE: snacks will NOT be sold this month, so don't miss out on the brunch!)

Entertaining you will be four outstanding local youth bands - Tower Bridge Trad from the Sacramento Youth Band; The New Traditionalists aka TNT; Syncopating Sea-Monkeys from River City High School; and the Jazz Raptors from Creekview Ranch School. 


We will also be presenting the annual Music Lessons Awards at approximately 12:45 pm, followed by a surprise special presentation!


Admission is $10 donation (plus $10 for brunch), BUT - anyone who brings a musical instrument to donate will be admitted free. Admission is also free for anyone 18 and under, and for the families of performing youth musicians.


New this month!! The Tailgate Room will reopen for jam sets, and for a special Mentored Jam set led by Bob Williams and Bill Dendle. Open jam sets are 11 am to 1pm, and the Mentored Set will start at 1pm. So musicians bring your axe! *


Please come by and support the Sacramento Jazz Education Foundation, and all of the great kids who love the jazz as much as we do!!
