[Dixielandjazz] The German Swing Dance Orchestra

[Gerard Bielderman]

Marek, could it be Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra? I have a double-cd where the band replays Benny Goodman’s 1938 Carnegie Hall concert. The role of Goodman is played by American Dan Levinson. The solos are not pure copies of the original ones, luckily!

Does anybody on the list know that band?  On "Sing, Sing, Sing" it sounds good, but that doesn't mean much.
