Hi Marek,

According to Rust, Manuel Perez was present on all the September 17 1926 Chicago recordings of Elgar's Creole Orchestra.

Best,

Louis

  Today's 20'jazz featured Elgar's Creole Orchestra.

According to that site, Manuel Perez is one of the cornet players. Other sources (I had to turn to YouTube for "When Jenny Does Her Low-Down Dance) say he MIGHT be on that session, but there's no certainty. Has his presence been ascertained? To the best of my knowledge, if he indeed was there, the Elgar numbers were the only recordings he ever made.

  Cheers
